Her parents did all the damage control they could do; from asking webmasters to take down photos of their underage daughter, to sending Angie to a different school every time her online reputation would catch up to her – before settling down with homeschooling so she would not be bullied.
In 2011, she was interviewed by ABC News – 4 years after her sudden rise to internet fame. Angie revealed her struggles of being labeled as a “porn star” and “slut”. The latter name coming from rumors saying she planned for the leaks to happen. A statement she strongly denies. Angie Varona avoided major social media sites like Facebook and MySpace throughout the years, resorting only to Instagram.

What did she do after?
Unfortunately, not much is known about Angie Varona after her internet infamy dwindled. What we can gather, however, was that she eventually became a barista at the Smoothie King Franchises in 2012,
She moved to a lead cashier role in Calvin Klein after some time. This move shouldn’t be a surprise as Angie Varona as a cashier in a clothing store is a GREAT marketing move on its own.
After some time working, Angie Varona pursued Law School. She first got an Associate Degree in Pre-Law Studies at Miami Dade College from 2013-2015. Angie took her studies further by getting a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government with a 3.75 GPA at Florida International University.
And in 2017, Angie started studying Law-Proper under the Juris Doctor (J.D.) Program of the St. Thomas University School of Law.
Her family (and herself) did a good job of hiding away from the internet spotlight over the years.

What happened to Angie Varona was an example of the dangers of exposing oneself on the internet. It was never made clear as to how or why her Photobucket was compromised. Her case, instead, continues to serve as a cautious reminder for all those who were witness to her rise to internet infamy.
